“I think PriceSpective thrives on an entrepreneurial spirit that calls us to engage in creative collaboration on challenging projects. The work is fast-paced, dealing with products at the cutting edge of pharma and the challenging issues facing the global healthcare marketplace. The nature of the work calls for strong teamwork and a shared sense of initiative to provide strategic solutions to our clients. Personally, I find this kind of work to be fascinating and fulfilling. I came to PriceSpective because I wanted to contribute to a growing successful firm and be challenged to deliver solid strategic results. I’m happy to say that I’ve found an organization that rewards innovation and fosters healthy intellectual curiosity.” Andres profile

Andres has over 7 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He joined PriceSpective in 2008 after 3 years at Centocor (a Johnson & Johnson company). Andres started off in Managed Care Marketing at Centocor, supporting the launch of Remicade for Ulcerative Colitis and Psoriasis by creating payer marketing material and cost-comparison models. Later, he supported field advocacy and patient access by promulgating communications aimed at Key Advocacy Leaders, informing them of the impact of impending Medicare regulations. In his last position at Centocor, Andres was Director of Patient Affordability & Access Services where he focused on developing innovative programs to assist patients with their out-of-pocket costs. His work in understanding the changing landscape of Consumer-driven Health Care supported the continued market success of Remicade.

Prior to working at Johnson & Johnson, Andres worked for The Lash Group, a pharmaceutical reimbursement consulting firm based in Charlotte, NC, and now part of AmeriSourceBergen. His project work covered several disease areas, namely peripheral artery disease, uveitis, and depression.

Andres began his pharmaceutical career with GlaxoSmithKline in specialty sales for the CNS Franchise. He dealt mainly in the therapeutic areas of migraine, epilepsy, depression, and bi-polar disorder, calling on Neurologists and Psychiatrists in the greater Philadelphia area.

Andres holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Health (Health Policy), both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
